Early life

Nick park was born in Landshire, England. He grew up with a big interest in cartoons, and made films when he was thirteen with a home movie camera. He eventually went to the National Film and Television School, where he started work on his first project, “A Grand Day out”

Career
In 1985 Park Joined Aardman animations where he worked as an animator on commercial products. He recieved much crtical acclaim when making two chickens dance on the music video for Peter Gabriels “Sledgehammer”. He also helped animate Pe-wee’s Play House. Later he completed A Grand Day Out another project called Creature Comforts (which won him an oscar). Two more of his works The Wrong Trousers and a close shave won him oscars as well for best animated short. He made his first feature length movie chicken run, in 2000. Park made it big when his second feature length movie Wallace and Gromit: The Curse Of The Were Rabbit won him best animated film. He is currently up for an oscar tomorrow for A matter of Loaf and Death, another Wallace and Gromit Short.
